Pumpkin Pie Box Freebie Printable...

I love love love pumpkin pie... and I couldn't let Thanksgiving come and go without creating a Pumpkin Pie Box!

Inside this little cutie, I'll be sharing one of my favorite treats... Caramel Corn... here's the recipe:

Microwave Caramel Corn
• 1/2 Cup Butter
• 1/2 Cup Corn Syrup
• 1 Cup Brown Sugar
• 1/2 tsp Salt
• 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
• 16-24 Cups Popped Popcorn
• Cooking Spray
• 1 Large Paper Grocery Bag
• Cookie Sheet

Spray the inside of one large grocery bag thoroughly. Place popped popcorn in bag... set aside. Combine butter, corn syrup, brown sugar and salt in a large bowl. Cooking in Microwave for 2-2 1/2 minutes... bringing to a boil. Stir in baking soda... it will foam... this is normal... stir mix together. Add this syrup mixture to popped popcorn... stir and mix in with popcorn. Roll bag down and place in microwave for 1 minute. Take bag out, open carefully and stir again; roll down bag again; return to microwave again for 1 more minute. Open bag and pour onto cookie sheets (be careful here, the popcorn is hot). Let the popcorn cool. Once cool. break apart, store in air tight containers.... and enjoy!!!

It's a perfect way to share something sweet with others this Thanksgiving season.

Color your day happy... happy Thanksgiving!

Mr Birthday... Well, Hello!

Mr. Birthday! Well, Hello!
Mr. Birthday! Well, Hello!
You're back again this year.
I see you're here to reminisce
Of this last delightful year.
With the candles light,
I've learned to count
The joys you've brought
And the lessons you have taught.
So, Mr. Birthday,
I am thankful for every day!

I love my birthday... always have and always will! It's a reminder of the past year and all the many years I've been blessed! It's a reminder to celebrate me... because honestly how often do we celebrate ourselves?

There are many ways to acknowledge a birthday... and every year I celebrate mine all month long... not only because I love my birthday, but also because I love to reflect back on the past year... remember the ups and downs... remember the joyful moment I've shared with family and friends... and be grateful for another year of life... thankful for the blessings I have received... but mostly to feel the blessing of being a child of God... and so very much loved by the One who created everything, including little birthday girl me.
